Penelitian ini mengkaji peran geografi dalam strategi pertahanan, dengan fokus pada implementasi Geospasial Intelligence (GEOINT) dan Sistem Informasi Geografis (SIG). Penggunaan geografi militer memegang peran krusial dalam merancang strategi pertahanan melalui pemahaman mendalam tentang karakteristik geografis suatu wilayah. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode studi pustaka, yang mengumpulkan dan menganalisis literatur terkait. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa aspek geografis seperti topografi, iklim, dan fitur alam lainnya memengaruhi taktik dan strategi militer, sementara GEOINT dan SIG terbukti efektif dalam menjaga keamanan dan membantu mitigasi bencana alam. Kesimpulan menunjukkan bahwa integrasi teknologi geospasial dalam pertahanan dapat meningkatkan efisiensi operasional, baik dalam konteks militer maupun non-militer.
