Efektivitas Compassion Focused Therapy Group dalam Menurunkan Distres Psikologis pada Remaja: Sebuah Studi Kasus

Distres psikologis pada remaja yang ditandai oleh gejala depresi, kecemasan, dan stres merupakan permasalahan kesehatan mental yang terus meningkat, terutama di lingkungan sekolah dengan layanan psikologis yang sangat terbatas. Penelitian ini mengkaji efektivitas Compassion Focused Therapy Group (CFT-Group) yang dikombinasikan dengan pendekatan Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) dalam menurunkan distres psikologis pada siswa sekolah menengah pertama di Bantul, Yogyakarta. Tujuh siswi perempuan berusia 13–14 tahun yang dipilih melalui skrining DASS-42 mengikuti sepuluh sesi terapi kelompok dalam lima pertemuan. Desain kuasi-eksperimental kelompok tunggal pre-post digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Hasil kuantitatif menunjukkan penurunan signifikan pada tiga dimensi: stres (Cohen's d = 2,23), depresi (d = 2,00), dan kecemasan (d = 0,915). Temuan kualitatif mengindikasikan peningkatan keterbukaan emosional, kesadaran diri, dan berkurangnya kecenderungan menyalahkan diri. CFT-Group tampak menjadi intervensi kelompok berbasis sekolah yang efektif untuk distres psikologis remaja, khususnya di tempat yang kekurangan layanan konseling profesional.
