Abstract

Literasi keuangan merupakan keterampilan hidup penting yang perlu ditanamkan sejak dini. Namun, banyak siswa sekolah dasar di Indonesia, khususnya pedesaan, masih terbatas dalam memperoleh edukasi keuangan terstruktur. Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan memperkenalkan pengelolaan keuangan sederhana kepada 32 siswa kelas V dan VI SDN 7 Jambewangi, Dusun Krajan, Desa Jambewangi, Kabupaten Banyuwangi, Jawa Timur. Materi mencakup arti dan fungsi uang, sumber pemasukan, kebiasaan menabung, serta perbedaan kebutuhan dan keinginan. Dengan pendekatan partisipatif dan berbasis pengalaman, kegiatan dilakukan melalui materi interaktif, ice breaking, serta praktik membuat dan menghias celengan dari karton dan kertas origami, dilanjutkan presentasi dan pengisian kuesioner kepuasan. Kegiatan berlangsung selama lima jam dan melampaui target 30 peserta. Seluruh peserta berhasil membuat celengan. Hasil survei menunjukkan 31 peserta (96,875%) sangat puas dan 1 peserta (3,125%) puas, sehingga respons peserta sepenuhnya positif. Kegiatan ini memberikan pengalaman belajar awal dan media praktik menabung sekaligus menegaskan pentingnya edukasi keuangan berkelanjutan berbasis pengukuran hasil, terutama di sekolah pedesaan.
