Revitalisasi dan Penerapan Sistem Manajemen Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (SMK3) pada Pengolahan Ikan Asap

Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan pengelola dan pekerja pengolahan ikan asap tentang Sistem Manajemen Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (SMK3) di Desa Paya Lombang, Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada tahun 2025 dengan tahapan pengamatan proses produksi, identifikasi bahaya kerja, sosialisasi, pelatihan, penerapan saluran pembuangan asap, dan pendampingan mitra. Metode dengan evaluasi deskriptif dengan pengukuran pengetahuan sebelum dan sesudah pelatihan Materi pelatihan meliputi pengenalan bahaya, penggunaan alat pelindung diri, prosedur kerja aman, dan pengendalian paparan asap pada area pengasapan. Pengetahuan peserta diukur melalui pretest dan posttest menggunakan 10 pertanyaan dengan nilai pada skala 0–100. Data dari 22 peserta yang menyelesaikan kedua tes dianalisis secara deskriptif berdasarkan rerata nilai, perubahan nilai individual, dan kategori pengetahuan. Rerata pretest sebesar 82,73 meningkat menjadi 89,55 pada posttest. Kenaikan rerata mencapai 6,82 poin atau 8,24% dari nilai awal. Sebanyak 13 peserta (59,1%) mengalami kenaikan nilai dan sembilan peserta (40,9%) memiliki nilai tetap. Tidak ada peserta yang nilainya menurun. Jumlah peserta pada kategori pengetahuan sangat baik meningkat dari 10 orang (45,5%) menjadi 16 orang (72,7%). Nilai terendah meningkat dari 50 menjadi 60, sedangkan median meningkat dari 80 menjadi 90. Hasil ini menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan segera setelah pelatihan pada peserta yang dievaluasi. Pengamatan praktik kerja dan pengukuran paparan asap diperlukan untuk menilai penerapan SMK3 serta manfaat fasilitas pembuangan asap dalam jangka lebih panjang
