Pemanfaatan Artificial Intelligence sebagai Asisten Belajar Digital bagi Mahasiswa FKIP Universitas Kristen Indonesia Toraja

Kecerdasan buatan (Artificial Intelligence/AI) generatif berkembang pesat dan mulai memengaruhi cara mahasiswa mengakses informasi, menyusun tugas, serta mengelola proses belajar. Di sisi lain, sebagian besar mahasiswa masih memanfaatkan AI sebatas mencari jawaban instan tanpa memahami cara menyusun perintah (prompt) yang efektif maupun batasan etisnya. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan pemahaman mahasiswa Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan (FKIP) Universitas Kristen Indonesia (UKI) Toraja mengenai konsep dasar AI, ragam aplikasi generative AI selain ChatGPT, teknik penyusunan prompt, serta etika penggunaan AI sebagai asisten belajar digital. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada 7 Mei 2026 dengan melibatkan 23 mahasiswa FKIP UKI Toraja melalui metode ceramah dan diskusi interaktif, dilengkapi demonstrasi penggunaan beberapa aplikasi AI. Evaluasi dilakukan secara kualitatif melalui observasi keterlibatan peserta, sesi tanya jawab, diskusi kelompok, dan umpan balik langsung, mengingat kegiatan tidak dirancang dengan instrumen pretest-posttest. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman mahasiswa bahwa AI dapat berperan sebagai asisten belajar untuk pencarian referensi, penyusunan outline, pembuatan presentasi, hingga pendampingan penulisan akademik, disertai peningkatan kesadaran mengenai pentingnya prompt yang jelas dan penggunaan AI yang bertanggung jawab. Kegiatan ini diharapkan menjadi langkah awal penguatan literasi AI mahasiswa calon guru secara berkelanjutan.
