Abstract

This study aims to analyze the feasibility of a textbook for grade IV elementary school students, Chapter 8 entitled "Sehatlah Ragaku" by Eva Nukman published by the Ministry of Education and Culture in 2023. The analysis was carried out by referring to the feasibility standards for textbooks according to the National Education Standards Agency (BSNP), which includes four main aspects, namely the feasibility of content, language, presentation, and graphics. The method used is descriptive qualitative with document analysis techniques. The results of the study show that in general this book has presented material that is contextual, actual, and relevant to the world of children, and is able to integrate text-based learning and projects according to the principles of the Independent Curriculum. In terms of language, it was found to be in accordance with EYD rules, although there were still minor errors in spelling and diction. The presentation of the material is quite systematic and varied, but still requires improvement in the activity instructions and types of questions to be more reflective. The graphic aspect shows good visual quality, but is less than optimal in integrating illustrations with text and does not provide accessibility for students with special needs. Overall, this book is considered suitable for use in the learning process, with several recommendations for improvement so that it can more optimally support the development of student competencies.
