Minat Siswa Dalam Mengikuti Ekstrakulikuler Olahraga Di SMAN 2 Pekanbaru

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis tingkat minat siswa dalam mengikuti kegiatan ekstrakurikuler olahraga di SMAN 2 Pekanbaru. Metode yang digunakan adalah survei dengan penyebaran angket kepada siswa sebagai instrumen utama pengumpulan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas siswa memiliki minat yang tinggi terhadap kegiatan ekstrakurikuler olahraga, dengan 50,3% berada pada kategori "tinggi". Analisis terhadap faktor intrinsik dan ekstrinsik juga mengindikasikan bahwa motivasi internal serta dukungan lingkungan eksternal turut mendorong partisipasi siswa. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya peran sekolah dalam mengelola dan mengembangkan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler secara optimal. Diperlukan strategi pembinaan berkelanjutan, peningkatan kualitas program, serta penyediaan fasilitas pendukung guna menjaga dan mengarahkan minat siswa secara positif dan produktif.
