Program pengabdian kepada ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan dasar bola basket siswa sekolah menengah atas (SMA) 18 Pekanbaru melalui kegiatan coaching yang terstruktur, sistematis, dan berbasis pendekatan ilmiah. Kegiatan dilaksanakan sebagai respons terhadap kebutuhan pembinaan yang lebih efektif pada usia remaja, perkembangan motorik dan kognitif berada pada tahap optimal untuk menerima intervensi pelatihan. Metode pelaksanaan mencakup analisis kebutuhan awal, perancangan modul coaching, pelatihan langsung fundamental (dribbling, passing, shooting, dan footwork), penerapan model small-sided games (SSG), serta evaluasi perkembangan keterampilan menggunakan objektif yang tervalidasi. Sebanyak 30 siswa berpartisipasi dalam program ini dan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada penguasaan dasar, motivasi, serta pemahaman taktis setelah mengikuti rangkaian pelatihan. Pendekatan SSG turut memberikan dampak positif dengan mengintegrasikan kemampuan teknis dan pengambilan secara simultan. Secara keseluruhan, program ini memberikan kontribusi penting dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran olahraga di sekolah, memperkuat fondasi keterampilan basket siswa, serta mendukung terbentuknya ekosistem pembinaan prestasi yang berkelanjutan.
